Spontaneous release! I played it to my daughter recently and she loved it.
She said: "Mum, please don't wait with this one."

To match the energy of the song, I asked Eileen Hall if we could use one of her beautiful paintings. She agreed, and this is how Amelie and I chose Breath II as the artwork for Yu Yi!

Written and recorded the song on Push2 in one take improvisation with Ableton Live. I played Push like a piano and sang at the same time, and the words and melody just flowed out after couple of hours various experimentations.

It is truly one of my favourite devices out there, and I am excited to learn more this week about it with my friend and teacher: Mark Towers.

Although the LP has been in the making for a long time, I assure you that it will be worth the wait.

This experience has taught me to trust my instincts, and never second-guess my creativity.
